I paid for a lifetime unlock key, and have been through a few successful phone upgrades but this time, BeyondPod isn't being cooperative.
Have used and loved the app for a long time, but can't create an account to sync devices which is what I bought the unlock key for. Perhaps this is because they are still in beta, but if there are no more places for testing the sync feature, they should warn you before you spend the money for a feature you won't get.
2022 update to my 2018 review: Highest recommendation! I use this app every day. BeyondPod is the best podcast player/manager around. I have tried the most popular players and BeyondPod is the clear winner. The app is regularly updated and it is highly customizable. And it works perfectly with every Bluetooth headset I have ever used, including 5 different brands. BeyondPod still honors this unlock key that I purchased 7 years (and 3 phones) ago.
New problems continue to pop-up, for no reason whatsoever. Worked fine on Friday. Today the player stops when the lock screen activates. Or randomly and FOR NO REASON WHATSOEVER.
Came here to look for an update or something to fix the issues I've been haveing. Found comment's from everyone elce haveing the same issues. Very disappointing, it was once amazing and one of the few apps that I happily purchased. Now I am very disappointed. If they release a patch that fixes all the issues I will happily change to a 5* review, but I am not holding my breath. It feels like they have got everyone's money and no longer care about providing the service we have paid for.
